Tramlink takes legal possession of parts of Iremongers Pond. Text of an email received from the Iremongers Pond Association

"Representatives for Tramlink formally took legal possession of parts of the Iremongers Pond site this afternoon. [An Iremongers Pond Association (IPA) representative] met them initially by the Toll Bridge and handed over the document listing [the IPA's) concerns. Chartered Surveyors, Mr Andrew Prowse and My Jeremy Berridge, of Bruton Knowles, walked the route and took photos to prove there was "no challenge" to their occupation. Mr Sanoj Lutchman, a Civil Engineer for Taylor Woodrow was also in attendance. He is new to the NET team, but will probably be involved from now on. The "Tree Feller" (Mick Sharpe) turned up at 2:30 and showed [the IPA] some of the trees that he will be cutting back next week (from Monday 16th Jan) and which trees are staying. He was not present today, but we're told that Mr Matt Orchard will be our NET Phase Two Liaison Officer from now on."
