Pictures taken of changes in the first week of works.

The main area of clearance undertaken so far has been adjacent to Iremongers Pond.

Residents' perceptions that vegetation is being removed with little regard for the plans are not assuaged by the amount of clearance shown in this photograph. The tram stop will be positioned roughly behind the two trees in the centre of this photograph before the line runs across the corner into Coronation Avenue. So why has all the vegetation at the far right of this picture been removed?

Not sure whether these trees will go eventually. Again, if not, why all the clearance to the right of the trees?

"No  mature trees will be removed from Coronation Avenue" - yeah, right. Probably the saddest picture I took today - cut down in its prime.
