The Wilford Quiz is back and we can’t wait to welcome you for a fun, friendly night of questions, laughs and community spirit.
Join the Wilford Community Group at Moderns Rugby Club on Friday 20th March at 8pm for an evening of general knowledge, team rounds and a great atmosphere, hosted by our brilliant quizmaster Paul Wicks.

Tickets: £7.50 per person
This much-loved local quiz is a great chance to get together with friends, meet new people and support our village. All money raised will go towards funding Wilford May Day and other community events throughout the year.
Whether you’re a seasoned quizzer or just in it for the fun, everyone is welcome.
Wilford quiz night FAQs
How do I book and pay?
You can book using the online form. Once you have booked, you will be given the bank details. Payment needs to be made by bank transfer before the event.
Who is the quiz master?
The quiz will be hosted by Paul Wicks, bringing the much loved Wilford Quiz back in true Blockbusters style.
What is the quiz format?
The quiz will be run in a Blockbusters-style format, so even if you do not know all the answers, there is still a chance to get involved and win.
How big are the teams?
Teams will be made up of up to eight people. If you do not have a full team, do not worry. We will happily add you to another table so no one is left out.
Can I sit with specific people if we book separately?
Yes. If there is someone you would really like to be on the same team as, just add their name in the comments box when you book and we will make sure you are seated together.
Are there prizes?
Yes. The overall winning team will receive a hamper, and there will also be individual prizes for every round.
Will there be food and drink?
There will be a bar on the night, with drinks available to buy.
Each table will have snacks and nibbles, but this is not a full meal.
You will also be able to buy crisps and similar items from the bar.
You are very welcome to bring your own nibbles too.
Where does the money go?
All money raised will go towards funding Wilford May Day, which will take place on 4 May next year at the rugby club.
Is it just for serious quizzers?
Not at all. The quiz is designed to be fun, friendly and inclusive, with a format that gives everyone a chance to take part and enjoy the evening.
