WILFORD LIBRARY CALL-IN

20th February

Conservative councillor for Clifton North, Roger Steel, has called in for further scrutiny the decision of Nottingham City Council to grant a 99 year lease for the former Wilford Library building to a West Bridgford Spiritualist Church group rather than a local Wilford group supported by a local benefactor, whose proposals would’ve seen a Post Office counter moved into the building, something local residents have been demanding for sometime for the Wilford area. Nottingham City Council have announced the call-in hearing will be held on Wednesday March 4th, at 12.30pm at Loxley House.

Full details of the meeting which is open to the public can be found here - http://committee.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=226&MId=4798
